Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar technologies are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work at all; others serve to measure traffic, and those we store only with your consent.

When you answer the banner, your choice is stored in the browser (localStorage, key consent) together with the date and the version of the question. That is why the site does not ask again on every visit — after a year it does, because neither a yes nor a no should stand forever. The site remembers your light or dark theme the same way.

Both stay in your browser, are never sent to our server, and go when you clear the site's data. The site sets no cookie of its own.

If you allow measurement, Google Tag Manager loads and, through it, Google Analytics 4, which sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>. They tell visitors and sessions apart. We use them to learn how many people came, from where, which pages they viewed and what they did there — which links they clicked (an app store, an e-mail address) and how far they read. No individual is identified from that data, and we do not try. They usually last two years. The controller of that data is Google Ireland Limited; transfers to the USA rest on the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Until you allow measurement, none of it loads — not one request reaches Google; the Google Consent Mode v2 default is “denied”. The site uses no advertising or remarketing tools, not even with your consent.

Nothing from anyone else. Fonts, icons and images are served from this website, so before you consent your IP address reaches no one but the server that delivered the page. The App Store and Google Play buttons are plain links — you reach the store only by clicking.

At any time — the Cookie settings link in the footer reopens the banner and you can switch your choice. Withdrawing is as easy as giving; data already collected does not disappear, but no more is collected.

You can also refuse measurement in your browser — by blocking third-party cookies or with the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on.
